SUNNY AND A VERY HOT MANILVA AT THE START OF THE WEEK

MONDAY 8th/ JULY 2013.

This morning we were up bright and breezy and we went down and caught the bus to Sabinillas; we then had out morning tea/coffee,’ with Tostado’ and Jam and Tomato salsa ‘Al Fresco’ in the already very warm sunshine; Brenda then went off for her walk along the beach and had a good dip in the sea, meanwhile I went to the Mobile Phone shop to get help to sort out her text messaging – the shop had closed and the business had gone bust! So it was ‘Plan B’- I called into the rival ‘Movistar’ shop and pleaded for help – result, so now Brenda is using her new Mobile and is on-line at 693731415 !

We are now back in the house and waiting for a call from the handyman to tell us when he is coming to fix the bed – ‘ Hasta Manana!’ This week is promising to be a very hot one as we start to get into the high summer temperatures; the fans are on in the kitchen, lounge, office ( Most important!) and when we require them in the bedroom, last year it reached the high 30s at night!!

No ‘Tour de France’ today – it’s a well deserved rest day after all the excitement of the last two days in the Pyrenees and the first since they started in Corsica last Saturday!

Tonight for supper we are having cold Chicken with a fry-up of the leftover vegetables, not a lot as the ‘Guerrero’s’ nearly ate us out of house and home! Then it will be time to catch a film after channel-hopping

Thought for the Day; See above.
