Well its getting hotter all ready and the forecast for the next week is more of the same; this morning we have got tonight’s dinner ready, Baked Pork Chops with glazed Apple slices, Cabbage with Alselgas, crushed Carrots and Turnips, sliced Green Beans, baby Roast Potatoes and a large dish of ‘Bretonne’ Potatoes made with Red, Green and Yellow Peppers( My favorite ) – two fine Riojas,Red and White will help things along - watch for the pictures later! For dessert I made this morning some ‘Crepe’ batter which I will cook to order this evening with a choice of Honey,Jam,Syrup, Black Cherries, and either Orange of Lemon juice and of course Vanilla Ice Cream !!

We had a very nice'Family' evening with the girls reminiscencing about growing up in 'Thornton Street' when they were young,Jenny still lives in the street,we then finished off the evening up at Bar Rojas on the 'Carajillo's!

Later this morning we picked the folks up from their apartment, I have a pass-card to get in through the gate to their level and then dropped them down in Sabinillas for a day looking around, shopping and Brenda has just found another Top in the same shop as last time that when I let her out! They are going to have a snack lunch and dip their feet in the Mediterranean, later.Brenda came back up on the bus early, the folks are getting a taxi back to their apartment; Mano and Anna called in just after lunch for gossip and chat, they are going to join us on Saturday morning for 'Brenda's Birthday Bucks Fizz Brunch'

This evening I will collect them from their apartment and drop them at the top of our street for our first dinner together, last night they all seamed to enjoy the ‘Tapas Buffet’ – in fact there was not much left, always a good sign!

Tomorrow we are out to lunch at one of our favorite's " Venta Garcia " and in the evening we are going to the open-air concert of the senior ' Manilva Music School ' end of term 'Gig' - last night they has the junior concert in the theatre.
