MONDAY 8th/
APRIL 2013.
We were up
before the crack of dawn, in fact as we drove over to Estepona the sky was
orange and peach, the mountains Red and the full sun was coming up from the
Mediterranean; one of our favorite times of the year as its only up 21/23
degs, with a little breeze and no tourists!
I found the Medical centre, with a little difficulty and walked straight
in for my Eye test at 8-15pm with a very nice consultant! After you have had
the drops and the test you are supposed not to drive for 24hrs but we needed to
get across to the other side of Estepona for Brenda’s X-ray on her legs for
8-48 am at the Hospital so I headed off in the glare of the sun and with my
eyes watering and blurred! We just about made it and with only one problem, we
will have to go back for them as the machine was acting up, normally you walk
out with them after 2 mins!
We have
just come back from a long walk around the village with dog as you can see in
the pictures below; Brenda is ironing and putting out more washing on the roof
terrace as it’s excellent drying weather, yesterday in the afternoon I ended up
on the roof terrace reading and dozed off – so I had a little color on my
cheeks and head – thanks to Brenda not giving me a nudge!
This
evening for supper we are having Cold Sliced Chicken with the leftover
vegetables and potatoes and then I will catch on the Sports Channel on the
large PC the Manchester Utd. v Manchester City game. Later this week on Wednesday
on TVE1 it is the first ever Spanish ‘Master Chef’ programme – we are looking
forward to watching it as the pro-mo pictures look very good –Watch this space!
PS; City won 1-2 !! It was a individual brilliant goal scored by Aguero that won the game !!

Thoughts
for the Day;
Ability may
get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there. You are the only person on earth who can use
your ability. With average or even
minimum ability, success is still possible.
