The pictures below were taken this afternoon as they finished the erection of the crane;it took just the two crane men and the driver of the lift crane to put it all together,a bit like 'Meccano' in the narrow street by the church.This morning the put the concrete weights on the bottom of the structure and lifted the central control column as you can see in the pictures above.They let me the area in without a 'White Hat' as I said I was from the press-a half truth ! I printed off some pictures and gave them to them later.Earlier the foreman in the church chased me off !!
