TUESDAY 14th/ JULY 2020. “ NEW NORMALITY – DAY 23 “
I was up first this morning and after a
quick freshen up ‘ I masked/gloved’ up and shot along to the local Bank in ‘
Calle Mar ‘ for some cash from the machine and to pay the electricity bill,
everybody in the street was wearing their masks, the new law starts tomorrow
morning, for the whole of Andalucia, they have to be worn when you are out, all
the time, social distances are also still the rule, with just a couple of
exceptions ( sport/swimming) Watch this space.
When I returned we had our usual fresh fruit
( peeled/sliced Nectarines & Banana) toast ( White & Brown ) and of
course ‘PG’ Tips Tea! Brenda then ‘ masked/gloved’ up and went down to the
local shop at the bottom of our street for the ‘ Campo’ Eggs for this evenings ‘
Omelettes’ as well some fresh essentials.
At lunchtime on his way home from work Andy
is calling to have another go to install an online ‘IPTV’ system – ‘Plan H’! Watch
this space.
We have another beautiful start to the day
down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ here in sunny Manilva, the sun was out first
thing and the sky is bright blue and cloudless, with a slight breeze, so by
lunchtime it’s forecast to reach 28/29 degs+ - overnight only down to 22/23
degs+! The rest of the week and over the weekend is staying the same, with lots
of warm sunshine, a few patchy clouds at times, hovering in the high 20s, next
week is going to be a ‘ Hot-One’ to say the least, with very hot sunshine
everyday, up in the mid 30s, by next Wednesday 35 degs+! Watch this space.
For our supper this evening we are having ‘
Omelettes of Choice ‘ – three ‘ Campo ‘ Eggs, seasoned & beaten, Brenda has
requested her favourite ‘Cheese’ ( grated Mature Cheddar & Parmesan) and my
favourite ‘Paysanne’ ( small/diced & sautéed Baked Potato, Shallots, Smoked
Bacon & Vegetables) – served with some finely sliced ‘ French’ Green Beans
and Baked Potatoes.
