WEDNESDAY 18th/ NOVEMBER 2015.
We were up in our own time this morning and
after our usual breakfast we shot out across to Estepona to go to the ‘ITV –
MOT’ centre in the ‘ Poligamo –Industrial Park’ above the town; its rather
gripping as the examiner takes you along the various pits, test spots etc
shouting and giving you instructions all the time! “ RESULT “ the old ‘Ferrari –
Red Fiesta’ ( 18 years! ) passed yet again with flying colours for another
year!!
On the way back we called into our local garage and asked Pedro for a
new radio as the old one has not worked for many years, its a treat as we had
some money ready for any repairs! We also called into our new bank in
Sabinillas and finalized some more details/ standing orders with our new
Manager Antonio. As soon as the new Debit cards arrive in the post we will
transfer the two old accounts from the bank in Estepona.
This morning we have yet another fabulous
day down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out early and the sky is
blue, there is no breeze and the Mediterrnean is sparkling, the rest of the week
is promising more of the same and we will find later about the weekend.
This afternoon ‘Barny’ – the ‘Rhodesian Ridgeback' - is back with us in ‘Doggy World Heaven’ until Friday evening and
tomorrow ‘Reina’ is with us for the day; no doubt ‘Chispa’ will be in and out
playing with her friends

When we got back to the house we then went
along to the chemists in ‘Calle Mar’ for some of our prescriptions, this
evening we both have appointments with the local Chiropodist down at the
surgery. For our supper later we are having individual ‘Steak & Ale Pies’ (
Iceland !) with a Baked Potato and some local Baby Carrots. Tomorrow evening
its going to be ‘Albondigas – Meatballs’ in my famous Tomato Salsa with fine
Spahgetti.
