I was up early this morning as ‘Scruffy’
was due for the day, a little later ‘Reina’ arrived for the day also , she’s
back on Thursday and then now on Saturday for a sleep over. The sun was out
early and the sky is now blue, we have another dry/crisp day with no breeze and
the forecast up to the weekend is looking like more of the same and getting a
little warmer – 20 degs but still into
single figure’s over night, the ‘winter duvet is coming out! – but no rain or
snow unlike the rest of Spain!
After our regular breakfast we sorted
ourselves out for the day ahead; I’m up in the office on the WWW and Brenda has
put some washing on as its a good drying day, she is then getting ready to go
and catch the 12-30pm bus down to Sabinillas to go to the hairdressers for the
full works, she is going down early so as she can call into the ‘English
Bookshop’ and buy the main family & friends Xmas cards, she’s catching a
taxi back up to the house; meanwhile I’m left in charge here in ‘Doggy World Heaven’
with the two/three dogs! ( if ‘Chispa’ calls in!)
Tomorrow morning we are going across to
Estepona, I’m now going to my Barbers, Manuel, for a trim and Brenda is going
for some retail shopping for some essentials, then we are going along to ‘La
Casa’ for some new Xmas decorations and a new tree.
As you can see I’m up in the office typing/
posting the Blog with ‘Scruffy’ at my feet and little princess ‘Reina’ in her
bed/duvet behind me, she now has another ‘posh duvet for downstairs in the
lounge as well as her ‘Red Fleece’ for when she goes for her walk! Yesterday
when we were out for a walk with ‘Chispa’ I called into the local bank and paid
the water bill, we bumped into Josie’s dear friend Helen, who lives here all
the time in the same apartments as Josie, she has just returned from a months
special holiday in Brazil with her husband Ian who was celebrating his retirement
in style! She is also going home to England for a week and again at Xmas ‘up
north’ to Skelton so will be seeing Josie no doubt! Enjoy!!

So this evening for our supper we are
having Grilled ‘Gammon Steak’ topped with Pineapple & a fried ‘Campo’ Egg,
some Garden Peas on the side and of course twice-cooked ‘Chips’ with HP sauce!
We will then channel hop and find something to watch on our new Spanish/
English TV system, last night we found a film to watch on ‘Antenna 3’ so we had
to suffer all the 7 minute long multi-commercials as we followed an American
Adventure Thriller “ Beyond the Reach “ from 2014 with Michael Douglas as the ‘Baddie’
and Jeremy Irvine as his ‘Prey’!
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
