A VERY HOT AND SUNNY MANILVA ON SATURDAY;

SATURDAY 23^rd/ AUGUST 2014.

We had a little lie in this morning as we have a late night ahead at the “Notche Del Embrujo” which is still being set up this morning, the sound and light system looks rather special and all the five stages have had the same treatment; last night Den & Josie went down to the ‘Duque’ park to see the “Dracula” production and it sounds like they had an amazing time, the singing and dancing was spectacular and the production was first rate – see the pictures above!

This morning I’m up I the office typing the Blog and watching on the smaller PC ‘BBC TV Breakfast News’ and later ‘Saturday Kitchen Live’ via the ‘Film On’ connection; Brenda is washing her hair and showering, we are taking things easy today, no doggy sitting duties in’ Doggy World Heaven’ – ‘Scruffy’ is with us tomorrow for a sleep over.

We are in for yet another hot weekend in sunny Manilva as the temperatures are due to rise and more of the same next week; we will survive!

This weekend is a very busy time on the sports front; the Spanish ‘La Liga’ kicks off with Barcelona welcoming the newly promoted Elche and then on Monday its Real Madrid v Cordaba,last night we watched the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup’ as Atletico Madrid beat Real Madrid 1-0,2-1 on aggregate!!

Meanwhile over in England in the ‘Premiere League’ Everton welcome Arsenal and on Monday it’s the ‘Match of the Day’ when Manchester City play Liverpool.

Back here in a very hot Jerez today the ‘ Vuelta a Espana’ starts with a Time Trial with both Froome and Contador going for the win; up at the ‘Spa’ circuit it’s the ‘Belgian Grand Prix’ with Hamilton and Rosberg fighting for the pole position today.

This morning we had our usual breakfast with fresh Orange juice, tea and toast, at lunchtime I’m going to produce a late ‘Brunch’ of English Pork sausages, crispy Spanish Smoked Bacon, Campo fried Eggs and anything else I can find ( Mushrooms & Tomato?!)  to set us up for the night ahead then early evening cocktails with nibbles before we hit the streets of sunny Manilva.See the picture below of today's 'little Brunch !!

So this evening I will be taking the pictures with my new camera using different settings as I try to find the best one for the conditions i.e. early evening/night time with bright light and colors – watch this space to see for the results!

Big Bri has just called in as he was walking his two dogs so we have had a good catch up and news update,Lilli is back on the 5th September just in time for the 'Vendima' festival!
