HEALTH/HOSPITAL NEWS UPDATE

THURSDAY 7^th/ FEBUARY 2013

This morning we shot across to the ‘ Cost del Sol’ hospital just past Marbella; I had an appointment with a Consultant Dermatologist as I had a allergic reaction to a change of tablets for the blood circulation in my legs at the end of December. My Doctor has tried two different medications with a little improvement so that’s why I had to see the consultant. After giving me the once over she has prescribed a course of stronger tablets over the next few weeks and a contact cream to stop the itching. I was then sent next door for an Biopsy which required a local anesthetic and two stitches; I then have to have the stiches out in ten days and get another blood test at our surgery before I go back to see the Consultant at the beginning of March for a review.

At the same time I have an appointment two days later with the Consultant Kidney specialist to check out my ongoing results with my Prostrate reviews and I then go back at the end of March to see the Prostrate Consultant again after more blood tests back at the surgery for a total three month check up! The Spanish system is kicking into gear and is very good and also always on time. Other wise I’am fine and in the best of health down here on the sunny ‘ Coast Del Sol’
