LONDON OLYMPIC'S TUESDAY...

TUESDAY 7th/ AUGUST 2012.

OLYMPIC NEWS UPDATE;

Sir Chris Hoy became the most successful Briton on Olympic history this evening with six Gold medals after winning the Keirin in the Velodrome ; he was unbeatable on the track and sent the partisan crowd into raptures.

Sadly the retiring Victoria Pendleton was denied a Gold medal as a result of a 2-0 sprint final loss to her perennial rival Anna Mears of Australia,

Laura Trott 20 won her second Gold of the London Olympic Games with a stunning victory in the two-day,six-race ‘ Omnium ’ after a breath taking time trial victory in the final race over her nearest rival from the USA Sarah Hammer.

Meanwhile Great Britain won the Team Dressage their first in Olympic history,Britain had never previously won an Olympic dressage medal,which underlines the magnitude of their achievement.
