THURSDAY 17th/
OCTOBER 2013.
Today is a
pottering about day as we have nothing to do – what a life! After our tea,
toast and fresh fruit Brenda has gone to wash her hair and shower and I‘ve made
‘Albondigas’ in a Tomato and mixed Pepper salsa to go away for another day;
tonight for supper we are having the rest of the Chicken Tarragon Mushroom Pie.
Tomorrow we
are out shopping in the morning including finding some fresh fish for supper,
it’s back to ‘Steak Night’ on Saturday and then on Sunday the roast is going to
be one of our old favorites ‘Roast Loin of Pork’ with all the trimmings!
Later this
morning we are going for a long walk around the village with the dog and to see
if we can find a new passage in ‘Calles Vela y Duque’ that is due to be opened
today?! Watch this space,as you can see in the pictures above we found it,the official opening is on Friday !
Last night
we finally were able to watch Anna’s friend from Tenerife singing on the
Spanish version of ‘The Voice’ Lydia sang ‘Bewiched, Bothered and Bewildered’
and went through to the next round; we had watched episode 5 on Monday night on
Channel 5 but as we did not see her in the introduction we did not follow it,
she was on at the end! So last night we caught the re-run of the show on
Channel 7 and saw her perform! The programme is not so long on this channel as
the adverts are only 2 minutes long as to 6/7 minutes long on Channel 5!!
We are
nearly getting to the point with our reading that there are no more
‘Patterson’s’ to read! This means that we going to have to find a new writer to
follow, we have really enjoyed all his books so it will be hard to find
something to follow him!! Any suggestions on a postcard – thank you?!
Last evening as we were coming down from the roof terrace after our 'Happy Hour'there was the most beautiful Red sunset, over the last couple of nights it been the same but I can't get a picture that's good enough to post on the blog with my little camera! Watch this space to see if a can find a picture off the TVE1
weather news site on Facebook!! See above, one picture of the sunset over Malaga, but not as good as ours and one picture of the sunset over Colwyn Bay last night !

Later
tonight after supper we will watch the news and weather and then find a film to
watch, last night it was “ Spartacus” the series which to say the least is
rather gory and not to Brenda’s taste!
Thought for
the Day; See above.
