MANILVA OVER THE WEEKEND/LONDON.

FRIDAY 10th/AUGUST 2012.

We have just got back from the shopping down in Sabinillas, the picture above shows the new large wall Mosaic Mural that was officially unveiled the other day; we had to pick up a new fan for the bedroom as the old one was starting to creek ! We called into the local market for some flowers and stopped at the butchers on the way back to the house and picked up two rather delicious looking Entrecote Steaks for dinner on Saturday.

Last night was the start of the Manilva Feria down on the market ground behind Sabinillas in the valley below the village ; the pictures above are from the Manilva Ws. Facebook page as we don’t go down to see it – been there – done it ! The Mayor, Antonia switched on the lights to officially open the four day extravaganza !

Over in Liverpool yesterday the “ Caribbean Princess ” was at the Pier Head landing stage as it called in for the day on its British Isles cruise; the ship is the largest in the ‘ Princess ’fleet and is usual based in the Caribbean ! She carries over 3600 passengers and has 1200 crew, she weighs 112,894 gross tons and has 15 decks !! See the picture above –looking rather inviting !

Tonight it is the Chef’s and staff night off so we are going up to Bar Rojas for supper.!!
