Team GB scooped SIX GOLDS !
Sophie Hosking and Katherine Copeland claimed rowing Gold with an emphatic win in the Double Sculls.
Andrew Triggs Hodge,Pete Reed,Tom James,and Alex Gregory were victorious at Eaton Dorney in the Coxless Fours.
Jessica Ennis was crowned Olympic Heptathlon Champion.
Greg Rutherfod stormed to Gold minutes later in the Long Jump 48 years after Lyn Davies.
Dani King,Joanna Rowel and Laura Trott triumphed in the Team Pursuit at the Velodrome.
And Finally ;
Mo Farah capped a remarkable day for British Sport with a win in the 10,000 meters in the Olympic Stadium !
It is the greatest single-day tally at the Games in over 100 years !
