Thursday 18th June 2009.
Today was our shopping day; we dropped down to Tarifa and called into the two supermarkets that we use, one especially for its fresh vegetables, it is very warm and close all the time but down in the town the wind was blowing as normal ! In the afternoon we tend in this weather to have a little siesta as the days are so long at this time of the year and during the night it still is warm, not dropping below 23degs.We now have all the fans on around the house; the cats are out all the time and the dogs stay inside on the cool marble floors and also they have stopped eating as much. All week we have been watching Royal Ascot, which in the past we never had the time to watch and the racing has been rather exciting, considering I am a National Hunt fan!
