MONT ST MICHEL

Mont Saint Michel is only a mile down the causeway from
the site we are on, so we headed off on the scooter for our visit
to one of the most famous places of history in France.It has 1000
years of history, four museums , and the abbey at the very top
was built by monks. We were amazed at the entrance as we climbed
up the narrow cobbled streets into an almost grotto styled haven of
restaurants, souvenir shops and hotels.Don't know how many steps
we climbed on the winding paths up the Mont to the entrance of
the Abbey
