Paid a visit to the good supermarket we found yesterday to stock up ,as we are
entertaining Eddy and Ge. tonight in the Winnebago , have promised them a leg
of lamb English style . Went to a butcher and he cut into a whole lamb and trimmed
the leg for us. Then we had a tour around on the scooter,further up the coast and around
streets in town we haven't seen . A huge river cruise ship has docked in the harbour,
similar to the Nile boats (must be 150 meters long, maybe more) here for a few days
then onto Paris, looks very stylish.
Dinner was a huge success that evening ,our Belgiun friends said they haven't tasted
lamb like it, served it with roast potatoes ( which they don't have ) leeks with cheese sauce
and green beans and of course gravy !! Followed by selection of cheese, then strawberries
and ice cream. Quite a production in a mobile home!!,but this was their last night with us.
