NEWS UPDATE RE CHETA HEALTH CHECK.

This morning as usual Cheta came crashing in through the shutters and seemed back to her normal boistress self; we called into see Isobel and she said that she had been sick during the night and also had the ‘ Trots ’ and was off her food so we whipped her around to the vets in Calle Mar. They took her temperature and it was high and said that she possible had a fever, they then had to give her two injections, when this happens I’ am afraid that I have to go outside because I can’t stand to hear her squeal ! She is on a course of tablets, which we collected from the chemists, three times a day and we also had to give her a worming tablet straight away; we took her home and on the way we called at Isobel’s daughters house to explain to her what was happening and she came around to tell Isobel what to do as she is very canny and won’t take the tablets, she spits them out when you hide them in her favorite cheese ! So they had to open her mouth we great difficulty and pop it in and then keep her mouth closed until she has swolled it !! She is also on no water or food for 24hrs. at the same time. Brenda is going to call in later to see how she is and first thing in the morning before we set of to the hospital on the far side of Marbella as I have an appointment for my two yearly Prostrate check, which I’ am not looking forward to !
