Tuesday 3rd February.
In between the showers in the morning we shot out with the dogs who are now back living in the garage as it has dried out.The cats are staying in more,you can’t blame them,and the fish are out from hiding,they must like the rain! I then chased the gas people as the tank is getting low,the heating went later in the morning so I called Miguel,who is a lot better,and we checked and reset the boiler and we have now got the house warm again.In the afternoon we went down to the beach again with the two dogs,we were the only people on the beach and it was lovely crisp day with the views down to Gibraltar.Every so often the fuses are still blowing but after a few attempts they do reset;
Wednesday 4th February.
First thing in the morning the gas tanker arrived so we are now back to normal service and as we went out with the dogs Miguel arrived to catch up with the garden jobs and clean the pool! He has also checked and cleaned all the drain outlets after the storms as more bad weather is forecast and as I am typing this gale force winds and rain have just hit us again.Carolyn phoned to say that they will be back tomorrow, they have been caught up in the snow around London and Clive made it from Italy;we are picking them up from Malaga airport in the afternoon and will be home tomorrow evening.
