Friday 5th. September.

Today for the first time in five months it is cloudy with some dark sky’s over the hills behind the village but it is still hot;the forecast for the weekend is sunny.This morning the six main bar’s in Calle Mar outside the Town Hall have been stocking up with extra Beer Pump’s,Fridge’s and Ice Machine’s as well as stock and Tables and chairs,there is even a “ New ” Bar appeared outside one of the Political Party office’s! There are now three stages set up for the Bands and village dignitary’s and as you can see the Wine Vat has now been painted White to match the village.Tonight in the senior school there is a Flamenco Festival with singing and dancing put on by council to start the weekend off.This morning we have stocked up for the weekend as the roads around the house are closed off to traffic and on Monday it is a Bank Holiday in the village after the Wine Festivities!
